Dear Members and Applicants,
We are pleased to announce the January luncheon will be held on Tuesday, January 10th at 12:00pm at the University Club. This lunch will include an exciting speaker in Thomas Durels, EVP of ESRT. Thomas Durels is responsible for all of ESRT’s real estate activities, including leasing, property redevelopment, management and construction. Mr. Durels joined ESRT’s predecessor in 1990 where he served in similar capacities, and also supervised property acquisitions. Prior to joining ESRT’s predecessor, from February 1984 to April 1990, Mr. Durels served as Assistant Vice President at Helmsley Spear, Inc., with responsibilities in construction and engineering for its portfolio of office, hotel, residential and retail properties. Mr. Durels is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, the Urban Land Institute and the Young Men’s and Women’s Real Estate Association, for which he served as Treasurer in 2003, and is a licensed real estate broker in New York and Connecticut. Mr. Durels received a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University. Please join us to learn about Thomas’s experience and insight into the current state of the New York City real estate market.

Please note, The University Club has relaxed their dress code. Ties are “recommended but not required.”
All are welcome to the event.
Guest fees are $85.00 per person, payable by credit card or check at the door.
