Robert K. Futterman joined Newmark Knight Frank in 2018 after the company’s acquisition of RKF. As chairman of Newmark Knight Frank’s retail leasing division, Mr. Futterman is responsible for leading the growth of the firm’s retail real estate business throughout North America.
Mr. Futterman founded RKF in Manhattan in 1998 and grew the firm to be one of the leading independent retail real estate firms, with eight North America offices and more than $40 billion in real estate transactions to its credit. A 35-year retail real estate veteran, Mr. Futterman has unparalleled expertise in landlord and tenant representation, new construction, leasing, sales and market analysis. He has personally been involved in transactions totaling in excess of $18 billion.
Mr. Futterman has been a leader in the revitalization of many of New York’s most significant retail markets. He has also made an impact on retail markets outside of New York City, including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto and Miami. Mr. Futterman continues to work on behalf of many of the most prestigious real estate developers, landlords and institutions in the nation, as well as its premier retailers and restaurants.
