The YM/WREA Foundation of New York, Inc. is a tax deductible 501 (C)3, non-profit entity of the YM/WREA with the sole purpose of contributing, supporting and donating to charitable, benevolent, educational entities, associations, organizations and institutions benefiting the New York metropolitan area.
The Foundation, run by a board primarily composed of YM/WREA former chairpersons and members on a volunteer basis, is designed and set up to financially augment and support the annual philanthropic endeavors and contributions of the YM/WREA.
Beneficiary recipients are selected by the current year’s YM/WREA Board, the Issues and Actions Committee and the Foundation’s Board.
