YM/WREA – Volunteer Day with Rebuilding Together NYC

Dear Members and Applicants:

Please join us on Saturday October 16 from 9:00am- 3:00pm for a volunteer day with Rebuilding Together New York City. Rebuilding Together NYC is a not for profit organization that repairs homes, revitalizes communities and rebuilds lives. This year we will help rehab the Brooklyn Community Services O’Dwyer Garden Community Center in Coney Island. O’Dwyer Gardens help children and young adults of the community learn and grow through various educational programs, ultimately empowering at-risk youth, young adults, and families. The work that needs to be down will help maintain and update areas to keep the building an environment where nurturing and learning can be done.

• Date: Saturday October 16, 2021
• Time: 9:00am-3:00pm
• Location: O’Dwyer Gardens Community Center, Coney Island – 2945 West 33rd Street, Brooklyn NY 11224
• Event Description: Volunteers with be painting indoors and landscaping outside. All skill levels and experience are welcome.

** Proof of Vaccination is required.
