YM/WREA Foundation Friends & Family Charity Event
Dear Members and Applicants:
The YMWREA is participating in Operation Backpack, a local charity to provide young underprivileged New Yorkers with school supplies. Please see the VIDEO LINK for more details.
All YMWREA members are invited to join. The class of 2017 and new 2018 members are strongly encouraged to attend.
In addition to making a financial donation, the YMWREA has coordinated an evening for members to volunteer by checking quality control of full backpacks, sorting supplies, assembling backpacks, and preparing them for distribution to children.
WHEN: Wednesday August 22, 2018. 5-8pm
WHERE: 601 W 26th St, 3rd Fl, New York NY 10001 – Starrett-Lehigh Building
WHAT: Volunteer by helping organize backpacks full of school supplies for underprivileged children
This will be a great evening to give back to a worthy cause.
