We are pleased to announce that the February 2025 luncheon will be held on Tuesday, February 11th, from Noon – 2pm at the University Club.

This month’s program will feature an engaging panel discussion with Bob Knakal and Paul Massey, interviewed by James Nelson.

Speakers:

Bob Knakal (BKREA): A leading figure in NYC real estate since 1984, Bob has brokered the sale of over 2,339 buildings with a market value of $22 billion. He co-founded and ran Massey Knakal Realty Services for 26 years, building it into NYC’s dominant investment sales firm before its sale to Cushman & Wakefield for $100 million in 2014. Bob now leads BKREA, a next-generation investment sales firm leveraging AI and best-in-class data.

Paul Massey (B6 Real Estate Advisors): Co-founder of Massey Knakal Realty Services and current CEO of B6 Real Estate Advisors, Paul has spent decades innovating in the middle-market space. His leadership as Co-Founder of Massey Knakal established himself a powerhouse in NYC investment sales, and his work at B6 continues to focus on technology-forward platforms and a territory-based model.

Moderator:

James Nelson (Avison Young): Principal and Head of Tri-State Investment Sales at Avison Young, James leads a team that has closed over 200 sales totaling $3 billion since 2018. A former partner at Massey Knakal and Vice Chairman at Cushman & Wakefield, James brings over 25 years of experience and a passion for sharing his real estate expertise through lectures, podcasts, and his upcoming book.

This dynamic conversation will explore how middle-market investment sales have evolved and where the industry is headed.

The invocation will be given by Leslie Harwood, Managing Director at Newmark and Former Chairman, YM/WREA in 1992.
